Our Mission
The Community Cabinet is a spiritually based
nonprofit corporation organized for the
purpose of providing basic hygiene products
and services, and general merchandise to
individuals in need. The Women's Cabinet is
a specific effort by the Community
Cabinet. Our goal is to meet the basic
hygiene needs of our indigent community with
personal hygiene items. We also assist
in providing access to limited dental,
optical, and scar/tattoo removal surgery to
those in need. Imagine getting up in the
morning and not having toothpaste... or a
toothbrush... or deodorant... or soap and
shampoo... or a razor, a comb, a brush,
makeup or feminine products. How would your
day go?
How would you feel about yourself by noon?
How would people be interacting with you at
2pm? Food Stamps do not cover any paper
products or any of the non-food items listed
above! You can help provide basic hygiene
necessities to those in the community -
women, children, and men - by donating to
the Community Cabinet.
Our goal in providing these services is to
increase self-esteem, promote better health,
and open doors toward a more purposeful
life. We want our clients to know that
God is a personal God, and who cares about
their personal needs. Presently we provide
these services in Northern Nevada and in due
time we will provide similar services
throughout Nevada and the Western part of
the United States. |
